The Soul’s Insatiable Appetite
It is incredible to witness just how paper-thin moments and self-knowledge are created—by yourself and even through the eyes of another.
For every time there is a blank space on both sides of a sheet, it is just enough to write an unforgettable story.
Ink withstands the length of a lifetime.
When there is an uncharted territory in your life, what do you do about it?
When you have an insatiable appetite to learn parts of yourself that are subtle, what do you do about it? Wait? Write it down? Walk into it? Crawl? Run away? Forge the connection?
This love for being outside, meeting up to appreciate life, and forging a meaningful connection are the basics for me. I’m now certain they just won’t go away.
After all, these basic and insatiable characteristics appear differently in every season, sealed as a paper-thin moment. Silencing our soul’s deepest desire, I’d say, is not the option. The soul’s insatiable appetite has a way of intentionally repeating itself anyway, so learn to sense it and feed it nutritiously.
