Setting the Stage for Favorable Outcomes
Scheduled for January is the topic: "Vision Boards and Goal Setting: Your Blueprint for 2025”. We hope that your next favorable outcome to reading this will prompt you to join our community of risk-takers, emerging entrepreneurs and aspiring visionaries.
We have three hundred plus days to the end of twenty twenty-five, so let’s start with something basic. We’ll do it because it’s an added value, it’s actionable and it helps us to create at least one form of structure to this life of plenty uncertainty.
On the first day of this new year, I typed into google’s search engine: “define a vision board”, and here’s the result: “the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.”
The next thing is, risk-takers, let’s try not to get ahead of ourselves with our overthinking ability. I have already considered that you may believe that you are not creative. I have also considered that you may think this is just a waste of time. What else? Think of so many, but will it matter? Not as much! I still believe that you should at least attempt this once, comprende?
Another point is, you are perfectly fine with whatever design or software you decide to implement. Personally, investing in a colored foam board, glue, marker, scissors, glitters, scrapped magazines, etc. work well enough. Yet, I find that between that method and utilizing what is immediately at my convenience settles even better. Internet friend, that phone and laptop that gives access to Microsoft Word and Google’s search engine is underrated. I’ve said that because I also find that throughout the year, I like to tweak my vision, which means that the pictures “on my board” fluctuates. As you step boldly into every new day, you observe and learn a great deal, so it’s also flexible. At your leisure, please use what lights up your heart, imagination and wisdom, with the least possible effort.
At Jaunty Ambassador, we capitalise on enhancing your mental fitness with this vision board technique. It’s a building block. It is a tool available to any and everyone. Your imagination is beyond the skies, and with so many free pictures and creative applications, let the internet be your playground.
This is one of the best goal-setting strategy you can possible invest in toward your personal and professional growth. It’s a win win, no fail. And since starting this trend for myself about half a decade ago, I am able to reflect and identify where I used to be. Not only that, but where I am in early twenty twenty-five to move forward with much more clarity. What do you see as the first representation on your vision board?
On a near final note, I’ve read the comments on a few social media platforms that a vision board is private and should not be immediately visible to persons who frequent your environment. While I do strongly uphold privacy concerns, it helps to validate the reference made earlier about creating a digital document. This will make it easier to add a checkmark on one of your many to-dos instead of having to add a new tasks of special orders or going out to the stationery stores.
