This is the month of scares and all things creeping!

Have the imposter syndrome monster got you?

The wins you are working to accomplish are out of reach. Or so the mind wants us to believe, yes?

This syndrome, specifically, is going to discharge thoughts as: "I am not good enough. I am incompetent. I am not confident. I am never going to achieve that. My standards are too high. Who do you think you are?" This is the lack mindset! You do not want that, do you?

The most amazing part of this delicate shift is that thoughts are constructed and can be reframed. This is also why I am certain that when you remind yourself of the milestones you have accomplished so far, you are going to have proof of devaluing anything that contradicts this imposter syndrome.

The same way you are able to construct thoughts that do not support your well-being, you are capable of designing thoughts that are well in order and at the top of your priority list that says: "I am content with what I have. I am intelligent. My confidence has been growing beyond my expectation. I am taking it one step at a time to get to where I want to be. My standards are right where I need it to be. I will not lower them because it is quality over quantity. I am who I am because this is who I want to be."

Let me tell you! You are nothing close to an imposter. You are the expert of your own life and you will grow where you are planted. You are flexible. You are creative. You are capable of working with what you have. You have the experience. Everything is within reach when you open your mind to collect the resources available in this moment.

You may not always have the answers in the palm of your hands, but with a little effort, you will find it elsewhere and sometimes in the least of places you are expecting.

Imposter syndrome can come like a thief in the night. It will appear to have no bridge, only the gap. It will seem barren, but underneath the ruckus, there is growth happening. The truth is though, you must put in the work to build that bridge and plant that seed. The ruckus will submerge.

The actions you are taking right now to correct any wrong, failure or mistake, is the best discipline you will ever gift to yourself. In time, progress will tell, so I want you to stay on this because this is the resiliency you will need to spare during turbulent times.

After all this, the most rewarding result is what you believe to matter most as a healthy thought system. My dear, you are perfectly fine. Keep going.

So, yes, imposter syndrome. It is one of those invisible thieves I am sure many other risk takers, entrepreneurs, and young professionals are going to deal with more often than not. It is real.

Again, it simply goes back to you believing and reminding yourself accordingly. You are here for a greater good, and to learn while you are at it.

Persistently, and with a ton of adjustments, you are going to pace yourself for the longevity.

You are equipped with brilliance, so nurture it.

Here are some relatable quotes:

"I still have a little imposter syndrome... It doesn't go away, that feeling that you shouldn't take me that seriously. What do I know? I share that with you because we all have doubts in our abilities, about our power and what that power is." ~Michelle Obama

"I have written 11 books, but each time I think, 'uh oh, they're going to find me out now." ~Maya Angelou
